Course Details
It is truly an oasis for the serious golfer, designed by Mother Nature, creating a natural landscape that winds through the foothills. In some ways, Skyland is an average course. Slope is 116, length is 6,115 yards, and par is 72. In more ways, it is pretty special.
The course has been featured on Fox8, and been the subject of golf stories in Crain's Cleveland Business and the Cleveland Golfer's Bible (Gray & Co. Publishers). The ashes of more than one player are sprinkled on the course.
Front Nine
The front nine at Skyland is open and rolling, giving golfers a chance to stretch out their drives and enjoy the rural landscape of Medina County. Wide fairways and well-positioned bunkers make for an enjoyable yet challenging opening round.
Back Nine
The back nine is tight and sporty, winding through mature trees and along ridgelines. Accuracy becomes essential as the fairways narrow and elevation changes come into play. This is where many matches are decided.
